New Version Under Development

It's been a long time coming, but I have finally started work on the all-new character generator which is going to be a massive improvement on the current version:

• Stand alone application - Download and install the application, no need to be online to use it any more. Initially it will only be available on Windows, but others may be supported later on.
• Universal system - Compatible with most game systems (many of which will be available with the download) including Babylon 5 1st and 2nd Edition.
• Customisable - Modify or add your own game systems and character templates (some knowledge of XML and HTML is required).
• Character creation wizard - This will work much like the current version but with improved functionality and full support for prerequisites.
• Multi-classing - Probably the most wanted feature will now be available.
• Level up wizard - A quick an easy way to level up your characters.
• Party creation wizard - Create a group of NPCs in minutes.
• Integrated name generator - Much like the current online name generator, but with the ability to customise and add your own name databases.
• More to come - Other features and tools to be confirmed.

The application will be branded under my software company, Kudos Games (www.kudosgames.com). The full version will cost $14.99, but a free version will be available with some feature limitations. Once you see the software and try it out I'm sure you will agree that the price is reasonable and the fee will help fund ongoing development as additional features and tools are added to the software.

A forum will also be available for registered users where you can discuss customising your game systems and get help on any technical issues. You can also share your creations and suggest new features and tools.

No date has been set yet, but development is progessing well.

Beta Testers Wanted
With all the supported game systems and customisation, the application will require a lot of testing. If you would like to be a beta tester on this project, please contact me.

Once the new version is available I will be phasing out the old web version, so please save/print off any character's you wish to keep before it is gone forever.
